The FDNY is urging all New Yorkers to change the batteries in their smoke alarms when they change their clocks for the end of Daylight Saving Time on Nov. 2. Help us spread this critical fire safety message and you could win a big FDNY prize. Here's how:

1. Follow @FDNY and/or @HotDogFDNY on Twitter; or @FDNYphotos and/or @FDNYHotDogOfficial on Instagram.
2. Take a photo of yourself changing the batteries in your smoke alarm.
3. Send it with the hashtag #SmokeAlarmSelfie by Mon., Nov. 3.
