New menus all over the damn place
There’s just a crap load of fall menus that you need to go try: the po' boy and octopus BLT at Black Crescent, the Dandy Onassis (Applejack, Wolfamer Orange, apple liqueur, apple butter, cinnamon) at Maison Premiere, a burger made with beignets at Bo’s, plus everything at Experimental Cocktail Club.
An entire week dedicated to Champagne may not actually be out of the ordinary for you, but this one is way more organized, with events like a Champagne cocktail competition and a Bubble Bash.
Run around and drink a lot of beer, basically. Now in its 8th year, the run has live music, eats, and beer from Kona, Flying Dog, Bronx Brewery, Abita, and more.
The red and white huts that draw swarms of people in Union Square are back today -- get there and get your Xmas shopping out of the way ASAP. Bonus: bring a flask and find the gluhwein station. You won’t regret it.
Get on the Hornblower Infinity Cruise Ship and sample goods from more than 25 distilleries and wineries while you check out the views and get down with a live jazz quartet.

Sure, pizza is delicious with everything, but you may as well learn what pairs with it the best. Get to this class that’ll teach you the best wine to go with three different types of 'za.
