Pink full moon Thursday: Who will see pink lunar eclipse?

Pink full moon Thursday: Who will see pink lunar eclipse?, There will be a pink full moon Thursday, according to an April 22 Christian Science Monitor report. The full moon in April is traditionally called a pink full moon because of spring's earliest flower called the pink phlox.

This April's pink full moon is extra special because it will also include a partial lunar eclipse. Who will get to see the eclipse? Unfortunately, not people in North America. However, people in Europe, Africa, and Asia should be able to see the partial lunar eclipse during Thursday's pink full moon. Ironically, the moon will actually have a pinkish hue too, which seems fitting...REPORTED...examiner.

The lunar eclipse will occur around 18:04 GMT, which is the afternoon in the U.S. However, people who are out in Europe, Africa, and Asia should be able to see the moon disappear as it passes through the shadow of the Earth. The entire lunar eclipse will take about two hours, and it is not one of the best to view, but it will still be worth checking out.

Were you aware that the pink full moon is not really pink? However, the full moon lights up the earliest flower of spring, which can look pink in the light of the full moon. Even though there is no lunar eclipse to view on Thursday, it would still be a beautiful night to go outside and take a walk and see all those beautiful spring flowers! It is the perfect time to enjoy the new birth that spring brings.
