'Rent is Too Damn High', The man who likes to say that rent in New York “is too damn” high is back ... and he’s now rapping his famous message.

Jimmy McMillan, the perennial political candidate who rose to national prominence for touting his Rent Is Too Damn High Party released a simple music video this week to help publicize his longshot 2013 bid to be mayor of New York...Reported..

The video, produced by Animal New York, features McMillan blasting his signature phrase over a hip-hop beat.

The short opens with a shot of McMillan watching a fake news broadcast that is discussing high rent in Manhattan.
An agitated McMillan claps his hands together, utters “damn,” and take off into the city.

“I’m Jimmy McMillan, 2013, I’m running for mayor, come and run with me ... because the rent is too damn high,” he raps.

“It’s been two long years since I’ve been on the scene. Now I’m back in the game, looking mean and lean,” McMillan raps. “The race may be different, but the message is the same: RITDH is gonna change the game.”
The eccentric activist is seen rapping in front an array of New York landmarks, including the Unisphere in Flushing and Yankee Stadium, and even flaunts his distinctive look.

“My mustache and haircut is too damn fine. I’m on a mission again to give the people my word, the rent around here is too damn absurd,” he raps.
The 66-year-old has run for office at least six times since 1993, including for governor of New York in 2010, as a Democrat, and for president in 2012, as a Republican.
