Providence weather forecast for Apr. 26, 2013

Providence weather forecast for Apr. 26, 2013, Forecast discussion: High pressure gave us a beautiful nice day in Providence with seasonable temperatures on Thursday. We did receive a few showers during the early morning, thanks to a passing cold front. We will see the chance of a shower or two for today.

The passing showers are due to a cold front currently moving through the Ohio River Valley. We will see the shower activity from the morning commute into the early afternoon. By tomorrow night, the front will move offshore, and we will see clearing skies.

By Saturday, high pressure over the southern U.S. will influence our weather, giving us above normal temperatures. We will have a quiet weather pattern for the weekend. By Monday, some moisture from the southern U.S. will move up into the northeast U.S. There may be enough upper level dynamics to help produce a few showers in the afternoon.

After Monday, we will return to a relative dry pattern. Temperatures will remain uniform, with highs in the lower to middle 60’s and lows in the lower to middle 40’s.
