Topless Kate Middleton photos charges: Three investigated in topless pictures, The topless Kate Middleton photos caused quite a stir when they hit newsstands last year, and now at least three people face charges in relation to the topless photos of the now pregnant Duchess of Cambridge, according to an April 24 Today News report.
In September 2012, French magazine "Closer" published the topless Kate photos, and now the publisher of Mondadori France is under investigation over the incident.reported
The charges being investigated are breach of privacy of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The couple was vacationing in French chateau when the pictures of Kate Middleton topless were snapped during a private moment between Prince William and his wife.
The others who face charges are La Provence newspaper's general director Marc Auburtin and photographer Valerie Suau. La Provence said,
"La Provence maintains that the photos it published (by Valerie Suau) ... show Kate Middleton and her husband in bathing suits and are not topless on the terrace of the Château d'Aute. These photos are not indecent at all and do not invade the privacy of the prince and his wife."
Now it is up to the French judges to determine if these topless Kate photos charges have merit and need a trial. If they do not, then all the charges will be dropped. However, if the judges determine to go to trial, then these people may end up with fines or even worse.
It seems likely that no matter what the outcome, paparazzi will continue to hound Prince William and Kate Middleton. The royal couple takes extreme measures to protect their privacy, but obviously that is not always enough.
