Bombing suspect awake: ‘Responding sporadically in writing to questions’, The news that Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is awake and “responding sporadically in writing to questions” has a whole nation ready with questions that need to be answered in order to explain the senseless loss of the lives of three innocent people at the Boston Marathon. However, while ABC's news report on April 21, 2013, raises the hope of many people to get answers, it might take some time to get many of those answers.
ABC’s News report about Dzhokhar Tsarnaev being awake and responding sporadically in writing to questions does not mention any names as to who provided the information nor does the report provide any specifics as to what kind of questions Dzhokhar Tsarnaev can and will answer.
“Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is awake and responding sporadically in writing to questions, authorities said. Investigators are asking about other cell members and other unexploded bombs, law enforcement sources told ABC News.”
In contrast to the ABC News report, Fox News writes on Monday, April 22, 2013, that Boston Marathon suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is in no condition yet to be questioned.
“He’s [Dzhokhar] in no condition to be interrogated at this point in time. He’s progressing, though, and we’re monitoring the situation carefully.”
In addition to speaking about Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s status, Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis told “Fox News Sunday” in the video interview that when the Boston Marathon bombing suspect is in the condition of being questioned, a special team will be sent in by the FBI.
Based on ABC’s news report, Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is being questioned by “investigators.” However, there is no information provided whether those "investigators" are part of an FBI team.
Even though both news articles appear to disagree about the ability of the Boston Marathon bombing suspect to answer questions, both articles do agree that there are many pressing questions that need to be answered.
"We have a million questions, and those questions need to be answered," said Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick.
While many of the questions for 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev relate to past events and the Boston Marathon bombing, even more questions relate to the present and future existence of other cell members, other unexploded bombs, and other potentially planned attacks on innocent people.
