Commissioner: Second attack likely planned by Tsarnaev brothers

Commissioner: Second attack likely planned by Tsarnaev brothers, Commissioner Ed Davis believes a second attack was planned by the Tsarnaev brothers. On April 21, Fox News reported that Davis spoke with the media and based his beliefs on all of the evidence that has been collected in the investigation thus far. According to several media outlets, homemade bombs and tons of ammunition were found that made many believe that something else may have been coming.

"We have reason to believe, based upon the evidence that was found at that scene -- the explosions, the explosive ordnance that was unexploded and the firepower that they had -- that they were going to attack other individuals. That's my belief at this point," said Davis.

Commissioner Davis saying a second attack could have been in the works is frightening. The people of Boston were on edge following the Boston Marathon bombings on April 15, but many were focusing on healing and grieving and they also believed that whoever did this heinous act was probably long gone -- likely not even in Mass. any more.

However, people thought wrong. On Thursday night, things took a crazy turn. Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev made a move (which may or may not have not been part of their plan). The city of Boston and many surrounding areas were simply frightened that something else was going to happen with these two terrorists on the loose.

If the Commissioner was right about a second attack, it's even more of a relief that these guys were stopped. As previously reported, Tamerlan was killed and Dzhokhar remains in critical but stable condition at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
