LB prostitution sting: Cleveland Browns Quentin Groves arrested in Ohio, Quentin Groves hasn't been with the Cleveland Browns very long, and he may not be with them much longer at all. Yahoo Sports reported on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, that Groves is the reason that "LB prostitution sting" began trending worldwide as he was arrested in Ohio.
Groves was officially arrested for solicitation of a prostitute after a three-day sting took place by police in Ohio. There were at least 14 other people arrested in the sting. EXAMINER
Reports state that Groves allegedly responded to a sex-for-hire ad and he agreed to the payment that was to be exchanged before arriving at Homestead Guest Studios in Beachwood, Ohio.
It was just March of this year that Groves signed a two-year deal with the Browns worth $2.8 million. He has also played for the Arizona Cardinals, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Oakland Raiders.
Groves put in the request for "full service" to an undercover police officer who was posing as a prostitute in the sting. When he got to the room that was agreed upon by the two, multiple police officers met Groves and arrested him.
In Groves' possession, in the LB prostitution sting, was $195.70 and a box of condoms. Those items were all taken and put in as evidence. he is ordered to appear in the Bedford Municipal Court on May 10, 2013.
