Missing student body

Missing student body, POLICE say they may have found the body of missing Ivy League student Sunil Tripathi, the young man who was mistakenly identified as one of the Boston bombers.

Tripathi, 22, a former Brown University student, has been missing since early March. Officers pulled a man's body from the Providence River, Rhode Island, today, the Boston Globe..reported.

Providence police Lieutenant Joseph Donnelly told the Boston Globe it was "very possible" that the dead man is the missing Brown University student.

Tripathi, who vanished on March 6 after leaving the apartment he shared with other students in the city of Providence, has been described as the other victim of the Boston bombings.

Last week, before officials identified the bombing suspects, countless numbers of people were claiming the young man, who had been suffering from depression, was the subject of the Boston manhunt.

Then, just as quickly, when police revealed the men they were hunting were the Chechen-born brothers brothers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the matter of the young man of Indian background was hastily dropped, The Independent reported.

The coach of Brown University's rowing team saw the body floating in the river around 6pm local time and called police, Lieutenant Joseph Donnelly told the Boston Globe.
