Mile-High Flirting, HAVE you ever wandered down the aisle of a plane and spied a complete spunk, only to have to return to your own seat far away?
Well you'll be happy about this move: passengers can now flirt with the object of their affection in the skies, without even leaving their seats..REPORTED
How? Virgin has launched a new system that lets passengers send drinks to their fellow flyers via the inflight entertainment unit.
All you need to do is pinpoint them on a digital seat map displayed on the screen, and you can then send them a tipple at the touch of a button.
The drinks will be taken directly to the passenger's seat, after your credit card has been swiped, that is.
Meals and snacks can also be delivered, so you could even buy them a dinner.
What next? Well you could interact with people seated in other parts of the plane via a text messaging function on the Red in-flight entertainment system.
"I'm not a betting man, but I say your chance of deplaning with a plus-one are at least 50 per cent," Virgin boss Richard Branson said.
The service is currently only available on flights in the US. No word yet on whether it will arrive in Australia, too.
