A pistol permit does not permit a person to carry a pistol while consuming alcohol, carry a pistol inside an airport, courthouse, or any public building that prohibits firearms.

A pistol permit does not authorize a person to carry a pistol to public gatherings such as sporting events, political events, parades, or other type public events.
