TV anchor fired for dropping F-bomb on first newscast, A.J. Clemente is calling himself a “free agent” after losing his job as a news anchor on his first day. The rookie newscaster dropped the “F-bomb,” thinking his microphone was not turned on. According to an April 23 report by Time, KFYR decided to fire A.J. Clemente after the video of his “F-bomb” went viral on the Internet.

“We all make mistakes,” A.J. Clemente tweeted. “[I'm] truly sorry for mine.”

He went on to tweet about he will “try his hardest” fo come back and “lean from this.”

A.J. Clememte is trying to keep his sense of humor about dropping the F-bomb on his first day and getting fired. He admits he can't “help but laugh at” himself and regrets tripping over his “freaking shoes out of the gate.”

At the time of publication, the self-proclaimed “free agent” was still unemployed. He is keeping a positive attitude and hoping for a major comeback after his major mistake of dropping the F-bomb on his first day at work and getting fired because of it.
